David Bowie charms Singapore
Fans were treated to a good mix of old and new - "We've got old songs, we've got new songs. It takes all kinds" Bowie cooed. And what followed were his numbers alternating between rock and slower hits. The energy of the crowd was high throughout, with many in the audience choosing to stand and dance to the music, rather than sit down. The Thin White Duke was clearly comfortable with the crowd, and made them feel the same back. He was both chummy and charming, inviting fans to sing in his place for a few songs. The encore segment saw Bowie and his team return with 4 signature songs from his collection: Changes, Five Years, Suffragette City and Ziggy Stardust. |

It was almost a full-house comprising a mixed crowd of tourists, expatriates,
and Singaporeans. The audience was unsurprisingly predominantly made up of his
