East Coast
The Terengganu coast, overlooking the South China Seas, is one of only six spots
in the world where giant Leather back Turtles clamber ashore to lay eggs.
The coastline has a series of long sweeping beaches of pure white sand,
punctuated by charming fishing villages. Life on the east coast is unhurried and
little changed by time.

· Lake Chini. Covered in pink lotus flowers from July to January.
· Cultural Displays. Regular performances in Kuantan.
· Kite Festival. Flying contest every July.
· Shadow Puppet Shows. Puppeteer uses backlighting to enact romantic tales.
· Fishing Boats. Fishermen in colourful boats land their catch on the beach.
· Moonlight Beach. Shimmering sands and palm fringed beach known as Pantai
Cahaya Bulan.
