Yellow Crane Tower
Yellow Crane Tower lies at the foot of Sheshan on the southern banks of the Yangtze River. It is one of the three famous towers on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the other two being Yueyang Tower in Hunan, and Tengwang Tower in Jiangxi. It has five stories and is 168 feet high. It was initially constructed in the 2nd Year of the Huang Wu State over a period of more than 1700 years.
East Lake
East Lake is located in the eastern suburbs of Wuhan and is on the south bank of the Yangtze River, east of Wuchang. East Lake is a major tourist attraction in China. It is the biggest lake in China. The 12.7 square mile lake is six times larger than the West Lake in Hangzhou. Characterized by its lucid water, abundant plants and unique gardens, the lake has over 120 bends in the branch streams. Due to its humid climate, East Lake has rich botanical resources. There are 375 kinds of trees and over 400 kinds of flowers, of which plum blossoms and lotus are most famous.
Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan
The Yangtze River Bridge was the first highway and railway bridge built over the Yangtze River, located between Wuchang and Hanyang. It is more than 0.68 miles long and 262 feet high. The bridge was completed in 1957.
